The Australia PR points calculator estimates your points for General Skilled Migration (Subclass 189, 190, and 491 visas) under SkillSelect. Points are awarded for age, English ability (IELTS/PTE), skilled employment, qualifications, Australian study, regional study, partner skills, and state/territory nomination. The pass mark is 65, but competitive invitations often require 85+ points. Use this tool to see your points and eligibility for each visa.
The Australia Skilled Migration points test is used to assess your eligibility for General Skilled Migration (GSM) visas including Subclass 189 (Skilled Independent), Subclass 190 (Skilled Nominated), and Subclass 491 (Skilled Work Regional). You need minimum 65 points to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect, but competitive scores are typically much higher.
